Any number or all of the leads of the test device may be bent 90\u00b0 simultaneously. Each lead shall be bent 90\u00b0 in one direction in the same plane without lead restriction. Leads may be bent 90\u00b0 by performing a lead form operation.<\/p>\n<h3>Direction of bend<\/h3>\n<p>Test leads shall be bent in the normal lead form configuration.<\/p>\n<h3>Procedure for pre-formed leads<\/h3>\n<p>When normally straight leads are supplied in a pre-formed condition, then this test condition shall not apply.<\/p>\n<h3>Procedure for flexible and semi-flexible leads (e.g., flat packs and axial-lead metal-can devices)<\/h3>\n<h4>Flexible leads<\/h4>\n<p>Flexible leads shall be bent in the middle of the lead through an arc of at least 90\u00b0, unless otherwise specified.<\/p>\n<h4>Semi-flexible leads<\/h4>\n<p>Semi-flexible leads shall be bent in the middle of the lead through an arc of at least 90\u00b0, unless otherwise specified.<\/p>\n<h3>Failure criteria<\/h3>\n<p>When examined using magnification between 10X and 20X after removal of the stress, any cracking of the lead plating which results in flaking, peeling or blistering or the crack can be peeled back with a sharp instrument (i.e. knife) shall be rejected<\/p>\n<h2>Summary<\/h2>\n<p>The following details shall be specified in the applicable acquisition document:<\/p>\n<ol class=\"metafstand\" type=\"a\">\n<li>Bending arc, if other than that specified.<\/li>\n<li>Procedure, if other than that specified.<\/li>\n<li>Number and selection of leads and procedure for identification, if other than that specified.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MIL-STD-883 method 2004.7 &#038;#82 [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":18,"featured_media":61626,"parent":64191,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-64264","docs","type-docs","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","doc_category-guidelines-ja"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
